So, needless to say our grocery budget has been cut by $25 every two weeks. It is now down to $75. It has made stocking up on sale items a little bit more challenging. However, I have really had to sit down and figure out what we NEED. That being said I am still trying to increase our food supply even with a restricted budget. I know you are probably thinking really how far can $25 go. A long ways I tell you. That is awesome! I'm starting to miss my $25! :( Also, with the peppers I mainly use these in chicken fajitas. However, when I want to make them the peppers are never on sale. So I will probably buy 4 of each and then I slice them up and freeze them! It works great and I'm saving some money. With the macaroni and cheese you will need to get creative. Have your spouse go with you and you each do a separate transaction. Hit a couple Safeways and then go to a couple of Wal Marts and price match!
